When installing please try the light without the seal first, make sure all contact points touch, then install the seal on the light and do the final install. Do not overtighten the nuts as you can pull them out of the fiberglass resin in the hood. If there is no contact with the mounting points, check if there is any part of the fiberglass that is touching the light, and if needed shave it off..
